The two companies joined forces in April 2013 to create sub-500cc motorcycles for customers all over the world. Since then, they have developed four popular models: BMW G 310 R, BMW 310 GS, BMW G310 RR, and TVS Apache RR 310. These motorcycles have sold over 140,000 units in various countries, including the EU, USA, Latin America, Japan, China, and India.

TVS Motor Company’s Hosur manufacturing plant produces about 10% of BMW Motorrad’s motorcycles worldwide. He mentioned the BMW CE 02 electric two-wheeler, which is the second jointly developed platform after the 310cc bikes. Interestingly, the CE 02 platform was designed, developed, and built by TVS.
