Royal Enfield has launched the Super Meteor 650 motorcycle in the United Kingdom with starting prices of GBP 6,799 (Rs 6.75 lakh). The Astral range, which includes three colors, is the most affordable while the Celestial series is the most expensive.
The Super Meteor 650 is powered by a 648cc parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled engine that generates 46.3bhp and 52.3Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is A2 license compliant in the UK and comes with a three-year RE Assured package covering warranty and roadside assistance.
In India, the Super Meteor 650 is priced starting from Rs 3.49 lakh, ex-showroom. It is available in three variants, Astral, Interstellar, and Celestial, with prices ranging from Rs 3.49 lakh to Rs 3.79 lakh. The motorcycle is equipped with a 650cc parallel-twin engine producing 47 bhp and 52 Nm of peak torque.
The Super Meteor 650 features 43mm USD front forks, dual-shock absorbers, disc brakes with dual-channel ABS, an all-LED headlamp, and a twin-pod instrument cluster with RE’s Tripper navigation system.
This new motorcycle from Royal Enfield also shares the engine with the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650.
