The EcoDryft was revealed on 15 Dec 2022, and now the electric motorcycle has been launched in India. The motorcycle is priced cheapest in Delhi at Rs 99,999 ex-showroom. The ex-showroom price in the rest of the states is Rs 1,14,999. These are introductory prices and likey go up in a while though.
These prices make the EcoDryft the cheapest electric motorcycle in the Indian market. For now.
The EcoDryft is a commuter electric bike, and has a design that can be called ‘plain-jane.’ The frame of the motorcycle is dominated by the battery which occupies the space that an internal combustion engine usually occupies in a petrol motorcycle. The company claims a range of 130 kms on a full charge, and a maximum speed of 75 kilometers.
The battery is 3KWh, and the motor has power ratings of 3 KW.
The motorcycle was displayed for the last two months across the dealeships of the company, and bookings are currently open. On-road prices vary across states depending on road tax and RTO charges.
The company said that the ZEcoDryft is positioned in the commuter segment which is 65% of India’s two-wheeler market, and therefore expects the motorcycle to push large-scale adoption of electric two wheelers across the country.
