mXmoto, a new player in the electric vehicle industry, is all set to introduce its first electric motorcycle, the MX9, in India in July. The MX9 has been designed in Europe by Marcello Silva, a renowned designer and creator, and boasts impressive features that are expected to excite electric vehicle enthusiasts.
The electric bike will feature 17-inch large wheels and a 60 AMP controller equipped with regenerative braking, which helps deliver a 16% increase in output power and stimulates the driving system to achieve higher levels of performance. The MX9 will also come equipped with LifePO4 battery technology, which is claimed to offer a high level of safety and help extend the range of the battery, making it a practical ride for daily commutes and long journeys.
mXmoto has a manufacturing plant in Gurugram with a production capacity of 3,000-4,000 electric vehicles per year. The company plans to gradually introduce more budget-friendly electric scooters in the country. Rajendra Malhotra, Managing Director of mXmoto, stated that the company’s aim is to make high-performance electric vehicles easily available for the masses at an affordable rate.
The MX9 electric bike will be available across all locations in the country through the company’s dealer network and also at its exclusive showrooms. With its impressive features and affordable pricing, the MX9 is expected to generate a lot of interest in India’s growing electric vehicle market.
Electric vehicles are gaining popularity in India due to rising fuel prices and concerns over air pollution. The Indian government has set a target of achieving 30% electric vehicle penetration by 2030, and with the launch of the MX9, mXmoto is poised to make a significant contribution towards achieving this goal.
