Hero’s recently launched Xoom 110cc scooter is now available for booking in India. The scooter was introduced in January and deliveries are expected soon. It comes in three variants: LX, VX, and ZX, with the base LX starting at 68,499 INR.
All Xoom variants have LED projector headlight, H-shaped LED DRL and taillight, and a 110cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 8bhp and 8.7Nm of torque. The top-spec ZX is the only one with cornering lights, Bluetooth-enabled digital display, diamond-cut alloy wheels, and front disc brake. The mid-spec VX has a digital dash but lacks the connectivity features, while the LX has a digi-analogue dash and optional USB charger, glove box, and boot light.
The Xoom’s chassis is similar to other 110cc offerings from Hero but with tweaks for the Xoom, and all variants have i3s start/stop technology. Seat height is 770mm and ground clearance is 155mm. The ZX is the only one with a 190mm front disc brake, while the LX and VX have a 130mm drum brake at the front and rear. Fuel tank capacity is 5.2 liters for all variants. The Xoom is not OBD-2 compliant yet, but the norms will come into effect on April 1, 2023.
