Hero MotoCorp has launched the Super Splendor XTEC 125 cc motorcycle in India, with a starting price of INR 83,368 ex-showroom.
The bike features a full digital speedometer with low fuel indicator, service malfunction indicator, and Bluetooth connectivity with call and SMS alerts. It is powered by a 125cc BS6 engine with a power output of 10.7 BHP at 7,500 RPM and torque of 10.6 Nm at 6,000 RPM, offering a mileage of 68 kmpl.
According to Ranjivjit Singh, Chief Growth Officer (CGO) at Hero MotoCorp, “the Super Splendor in XTEC avatar aims to redefine the experience in the 125cc segment.” The bike includes updates such as Bluetooth connectivity and a fully digital instrument console. It also features an LED headlight, a single-piece seat, and comes in two new paint schemes, Candy Blazing Red and Matt Axis Grey.
The Super Splendor XTEC is equipped with a disc brake and CBS, and 18-inch alloys wrapped in 80/100 front and 90/90 rear tyres. The drum variant is priced at INR 83,368, while the disc brake model is priced at INR 87,268, both ex-showroom Delhi. The motorcycle competes with the Honda CB Shine and TVS Raider in the Indian market.
