Hero MotoCorp, the leading two-wheeler manufacturer in India, has unveiled the updated 2023 version of its popular commuter bike, the HF Deluxe. The latest model comes with several enhancements, including greener technology and a range of vibrant new colors. The HF Deluxe is available in three variants, with prices starting from Rs 60,760 (ex-showroom).
One of the notable additions to the 2023 HF Deluxe is the inclusion of i3S (start/stop technology) on specific variants, allowing for improved fuel efficiency. In addition, the bike now features tubeless tires as standard on the self-start and i3S equipped versions. For added convenience, an optional USB charger is offered to riders. Furthermore, Hero MotoCorp is offering a five-year warranty and five free services as standard, providing peace of mind to customers.
Under the hood, the HF Deluxe is equipped with a 97cc air-cooled, single-cylinder ‘Sloper’ engine, delivering a power output of 8 horsepower and a torque of 8.05Nm. The engine has undergone significant upgrades, making it OBD-2 compliant and capable of running on E20 fuel. It is paired with a four-speed gearbox, ensuring a smooth and efficient ride. The bike boasts a basic double cradle frame and is supported by a telescopic fork and a two-step adjustable twin shock absorber setup. With a fully fueled 9.6-liter tank, the HF Deluxe weighs 112kg.
The 2023 Hero HF Deluxe is priced at Rs 60,760 (ex-showroom Delhi), marking a Rs 770 increase compared to the previous model. The new version of the HF Deluxe will face competition from the Honda Shine 100, priced at Rs 64,900 (introductory, ex-showroom Mumbai), and the Bajaj Platina 100, available for Rs 67,475.
