A video of the upcoming Harley-Davidson X350 motorcycle has surfaced online, revealing the model for the first time ahead of its global debut. The X350, which will be used for Harley-Davidson’s training school and replace the older Street 500 motorcycles, has been designed in partnership with QJ Motor and is based on the Chinese bikemaker’s SRK 350 naked motorcycle.
The X350 features a trellis frame, tubular swingarm, USD fork, monoshock suspension setup, dual petal discs up front, and a single petal disc at the rear. The bike weighs around 195kg and has a top speed of 143kmph. The 350cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine is expected to produce around 35PS.
Despite being based on the SRK 350, the X350’s design is unmistakably Harley-Davidson. The bike flaunts a circular LED headlight with a DRL surround for the bottom half, and its tank, side panels, and even the taillight are all uniquely Harley-Davidson.
While the X350 is unlikely to debut in the Indian market, where Harley-Davidson has joined hands with Hero MotoCorp to develop a small-capacity motorcycle, it is expected to attract a new generation of riders to the iconic American brand in other global markets.
The Harley-Davidson X350 and X500 will make their global premiere in China on March 10, 2023.
