Husqvarna has launched the 2024 editions of two exciting motorcycles in India – the Svartpilen 401 and the Vitpilen 250. These new editions bring several updates and improvements, making them more appealing to motorcycle enthusiasts.
The Svartpilen 401 is known for its robust and adventure-ready design, while the Vitpilen 250 is celebrated for its sleek and modern styling. Both models have received significant upgrades in design, features, engine performance, and hardware.
For the Vitpilen 250, Husqvarna has refined its design to give it a fresher look. The fuel tank now has a more prominent protruding shape, and the rear section is sleeker. The circular LED headlamp at the front has been enlarged, maintaining its distinctive appearance.
Feature-wise, the 2024 Vitpilen 250 is equipped with full-LED lighting and a five-inch LCD screen with optional Bluetooth connectivity. It also comes with a traction control system, ride-by-wire throttle, Quickshifter+, switchable ABS, and a Type-C charging port, adding to its technological prowess.
The heart of the Vitpilen 250 is a 249cc, liquid-cooled engine, capable of producing 30.57bhp at 9,500rpm and 25Nm at 7,500rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox. This engine setup promises an exhilarating ride experience.
In terms of hardware, the bike has a steel trellis frame, a 43mm USD fork by WP, and a preload adjustable monoshock. The braking system consists of a 320mm disc at the front with sintered pads and a 240mm disc at the rear, equipped with dual-channel ABS. Notably, the Vitpilen 250 has a higher ground clearance and a lower seat height of 820mm, making it more comfortable and accessible. The fuel tank capacity has increased to 13.5-litres, and the kerb weight is 163.8kg.
Priced at Rs 2.19 lakh, ex-showroom, the 2024 Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 offers excellent value for money, especially when compared to its competitors like the KTM 250 Duke.
The launch of these motorcycles in India signifies Husqvarna’s commitment to delivering high-quality, feature-rich bikes at competitive prices. Motorcycle enthusiasts can look forward to a blend of performance, style, and advanced features with the 2024 editions of the Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 250.
