Joy E-Bike, an electric vehicle (EV) company, announced that it has received 18,600 bookings for its Joy Mihos electric scooter in just 15 days after its launch at the Delhi Auto Expo 2023. The high-speed electric scooter, which is targeted at the premium segment in India, is set to be delivered to customers starting in March 2023.
The Joy Mihos electric scooter boasts a retro-modern design and is made with a highly durable Poly Dicyclopentadiene (PDCPD) material. It is powered by a 74V40Ah Li-ion battery with a Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) battery pack and has a claimed range of 130 km on a single charge. The electric scooter can go from 0 to 40 kmph in under 7 seconds and is equipped with a 4.3″ color TFT Display, front disc brakes, telescopic front suspension, GPS-enabled connected vehicle features, LED lighting, and more.
The electric scooter is available in four color options: Metallic Blue, Solid Black Glossy, Solid Yellow Glossy, and Pearl White. The company has also developed a companion app called Joy E – connect that allows for multiple connected vehicle features. The Joy Mihos electric scooter has a pair of 90-section 12-inch wheels and 175mm of ground clearance.
The Joy Mihos electric scooter was launched at a price of Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The battery can be charged within 5 to 5.5 hours using a wall charger provided by the company.
